Monica, whose work is currently being featured on Wedding Videographer London
is typical of Portobello Films' broadcast professionals. An earlier starter Monica began her career straight in the deep end, with Italian regional broadcaster TCA as a camera operator. Supplying broadcast material for 4 different shows. It was while covering news and sport that she gained valuable experience in the results driven world of "as live" television. Still in her early twenties Monica made the leap to national broadcast with her coverage of the Tour of Italy and the World Ski championship with her footage syndicated throughout the world.
Monica, with her enhanced reputation as a focused, reliable and skillful "live" camera operator continued her progression through national broadcast, working for RAI and Sky Italia. With only a short educational break in London gaining a distinction in Media Studies she returned to Italy to work on popular formats such as Wife Swap, and Miss Italia. While utilizing her new Avid editing skills producing films for high profile clients such as the European Parliament, Heineken and Red Bull. However the lure of London became just too great and Monica upped sticks once more and headed back to Notting Hill.
Although now a Londoner Monica continues to supply footage and services to Mediaset, Rai and Sky Italia while taking on the role of co-director and Producer for broadcast services and corporate video company Future Farm Productions. Monica continues working for high profile clients notably producing a series of amazing mini documentaries with NY photographer Noah Smith featuring D+G, Persol and RayBan for Milan Design Week and more recently covering Prince's Charle's Garden Party at Clarence House, including an interview with Dame Vivienne Westwood.
